All his vaccinations are up to date.Toby’s passport shows an age of 10 years. However, Toby loves to run in the Campo but now and again he seems to feel that this is not enough and escapes from the garden. Toby has to be taken on the leash when cyclists are in eyesight…he loves to race with them, trying to find out who is faster, when they stop, he stops and turnes around. Toby walks very well on a lead.
Toby wants to be friends with everyone: BUT: he still gets scared by any fast movement, umbrellas and walking sticks, fireworks and gunfire ( hunters).
He loves to play with adults, children and other dogs, but is not interested in any toys. However: he likes to “nibble” on our old, worn out sandals.
Toby knows all the important orders “sit”, stay, up, down, here, away, good boy, etc His favorite word is “snack”…. after he’s been a good boy, of course.
Toby only barks if an unknown vehicle or person stops at the gate. He is housetrained and if he needs to go outside, he comes to let you know.
Toby is not fussy with food. He loves all kind of fish, particularly Tuna. Twice a day he gets dry (with a little wet ) food and of course our left overs of almost everything. We try to keep Toby at a healthy 22 to 23 kg.
